Horton Ears

I was trying to think of the best snack to make with a Horton theme and I thought, What better than elephant ears? They were fast and simple to make.

Elephant Ears

Ingredients:

1 10 ct. tube refrigerator biscuit dough

Oil for frying

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Heat oil in frying pan until it starts to slightly bubble. Combine two biscuits together with hands. You can roll it out larger between two sheets of waxed paper or stretch by hand. Fry until golden brown, turning once. Repeat with remaining biscuits. Drain biscuits on paper towels. Stir together cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle over cooked biscuits. Makes 5 large elephant ears.

They turned out great!

Collin loved them.

And so did Carlee!

For some extra fun serve your drink with a clover straw.
Cut out clover shape, glue on white spec, tape to straw. I like projects that are simple!
